About This Project

The only thing that could dim the day was some off-season Byron Bay weather.

Fun bride, fun groom and fun bridal party. From the moment I met them all at the Surf Club on the Friday, I knew it was going to be a positive experience.

Glenn and Mel are so cruisy and laid back that they were prepared to go with the flow. Mel had put so much effort into planning the wedding that there was little could go wrong (except the weather).

Lo and behold, the Byron Bay weather was perfect.

The 100+ guests were so keen for a shindig that they were arriving early. Mel and Glenn had the drinks flowing generously so they were happy campers right from the start.

Then the Champagne Celebrant kept them entertained with a fun ceremony and set the vibe for the evening.

As soon as the ceremony was over and the group shots were completed it was time to do a location shoot. We took off in the stretch Hummer to shoot at Wategos, Palm Valley and a 5:00 pm sunset at The Pass.

Light was failing at light speed and it was very shady in Palm Valley. The modus operandi was to get a wriggle on so that we could complete what we set out to do and not miss the beach sunset.

All done and a quick jaunt in the limo back to the reception for more food, bevies, fun and yes – more photos.

Ching ching Mr and Mrs Schultz!
