Starting at the North end of the Byron Bay Beach Wedding Locations, Cabarita is a small coastal village with a wide sandy beach and scenic headland.

A 400m hilly trek East from Wategos will take you to this magic little beach and the Easternmost point of mainland Australia.
This is a photographers dream with secluded nooks, explosive waves and steep cliffs. This is my personal favourite of the Byron Bay Beach Wedding locations.
Tallows Beach is on the South side of Cape Byron and is accessed though the National Park. Cosy corner is popular for wedding but a bit of a hike if you have elderly guests.
Very protected from those hot summer North-Easterly winds and not as busy as the main Byron Beaches unless the surf is pumping.

Tallows Beach stretches from Cape Byron to Broken Head. Suffolk Park has many beachfront properties blocking access.
You can get to the beach from the occasional car parks dotted along the main beach drag. Plenty of privacy on this sandy stretch if that is what you are after.
Broken Head has a first-class surfing beach and one of the most popular Byron Bay beach wedding locations.
You can choose from sandy beach to headland if you are up to a bit of a walk to the South.
With easy access to the beach Lennox Head also has a good variety of restaurants along the foreshore.
Lennox Head and Ballina provide a great alternative to the Byron Bay beach wedding locations. There is ample variety for the avid photographer. as you will see below.

You can select from the sandy beach, the stony beach or the grassy headland to stage your ceremony. Then there are so many great shooting locations at any time of the day.
Just another day at the beach. Young dolphin pups learning to surf at Skennars Head. This is a popular whale watching spot for the annual whale migrations. The elevation combined with the ocean in the background makes for some dramatic cliff top photography.

The sealed car park provides easy beach access for wedding guests and the beach is never crowded.
Angels Beach is in the middle of East Ballina but mostly deserted due to it not being visible from the road.
This sandy secluded beach is a great beach wedding location and is easily accessed from the Flat Rock camping ground car park. Other parts of the beach can be accessed from the Angels beach car park or Trestles headland.

Shelly is another popular surf, cycling and jogging destination between Trestles Headland and the Ballina Lighthouse.

Just to the North of the Missingham bridge sits this magic corner of the Richmond River North Arm.
Enormous figs overhang the beach and provide shelter from the afternoon sun.
